I’m being interviewed

This spring I took part in an online workshop for local businesses up north and here I am, being interviewed about it and my experiences. It’s in Swedish and the link to the full interview is below.

The interview:

  1. I tried to see the interview but the page is no longer there πŸ˜‚πŸ˜…, but I am sure you did well πŸ™ŒπŸ€©πŸ€©

    1. Hardly remember it. Very short interview. Also bit of a fail since I joined the group to get a local network, which didn’t really happen 😹 blame it on the pandemic, long distances in the north or … something else πŸ˜‰

      1. Hahaha πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ˜‚, it’s kind of funny but atleast your tried lol. I felt inclined to comment because I was not expecting an interview; it made you look like “celebrity” πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  2. “Found your comments, approved them. Couldn’t reply to them then, now can’t find them πŸ₯³ sorry!”

πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ’• you mean you cannot locate the comments that you approved that you wanted to respond too?.

      1. Don’t worry, i will get back to you on this; I current have my hands full drowning in notifications hahaha

  3. “Exactly! I approved the comment and then it went to the post where it was supposed to go. It’s just that I don’t remember which one. 😟”

Hi, I hope I am not disturbing you; I was able to find about two πŸ˜‚

    This one:

    And this one

I know that you are well aware that you don’t have to respond to everything, but i just want you to know that I really appreciate your show of interest πŸ‘πŸ’™πŸ˜„πŸ˜„

      1. Awesome, i was hoping that it would be πŸŽ―πŸ‘πŸ˜„. Yes I did, it was refreshing; I did not take a splash in a long time πŸ€£πŸ–πŸŒŠ. i am from the Caribbean βœŒοΈπŸ˜„πŸ˜‡

      2. Oh, the Caribbean 🌊 you can certainly swim there. But I’ve only been to Cuba, and Aruba. Great swimming πŸŠβ€β™€οΈ

      3. Very cool Helena — Aruba is a place that I have not heard in a long time πŸ‘ŒπŸ€£.

Absolutely the way these islands are situated in the Caribbean, it makes sea and aquatic experiences accessible and feel very natural hahaha

      4. My friends parents have a time share there so that’s why I visited Aruba. Nice! Also had just been in Calumet, Michigan where it was snowing so nice change πŸ™ŒπŸ

  4. “My friends parents have a time share there so that’s why I visited Aruba. Nice! Also had just been in Calumet, Michigan where it was snowing so nice change πŸ™ŒπŸ”

Yes πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ˜„, the snowy weather can be pretty harsh as well a dangerous depending on the severity, so having alternative options to get a break from those conditions are prospects you can’t beat hahaha

      1. Right the snow can be fun and make places look very beautiful haha, but take the precautions you need to avoid becoming an Ice Cycle πŸ€ŸπŸ‘πŸ€£πŸ˜„

      2. WOW, oh no, that is not good πŸ˜…πŸ˜…. Do you wear gloves to protect your precious fingers?πŸ§€πŸ˜„

      3. Well no. Because holding a burning cigarette πŸ”₯ but keep changing hands so one of them is warm. Once I didn’t do that and lost feel in my fingers. Oops πŸ™Š

  5. “Well no. Because holding a burning cigarette πŸ”₯ but keep changing hands so one of them is warm. Once I didn’t do that and lost feel in my fingers. Oops πŸ™Š”

Oh I thought when you said “not smoking outside when it’s -28 degrees Celsius” meant that it was “-28” degrees outside and that you were not smoking, making it probably the best idea to cover up your hands if you can πŸ˜…πŸ˜….

I am glad that incident with your numb fingers only happened once and hopefully never again haha

    1. Will, probably happen again πŸ˜‰ because that’s what weather in the arctic is during the winter. And, I’ll probably spend some time there during the winter sometime again. And, I’m used to that too.

      1. Hahaha yes, that, and also because I don’t think a burning cigarette is nearly enough to keep anyone from freezing to death is such a frigid environment πŸ€£πŸ˜…. I am still impressed by the fact that the cigarette stays burning even though it’s that cold — it’s like magic or special effects πŸ’―πŸ€πŸ˜‚

” I’m used to that too.”

        I hope so πŸ™β˜ΊοΈ

  6. “Oh, things burn in the cold too. Otherwise it would be even colder up there πŸ˜‰”

Haha it’s true that things do burn in the “cold” but when it’s that “freezing”, a cigarette seems like a lost cause πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ˜‚

      1. Yes it sounds incapacitating 🀣🀣. But, naturally, you are already “smoking” (πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‰) so I don’t think you need cigarettes πŸ‘πŸ˜πŸ˜†

  7. “πŸ˜ΉπŸ‘”

πŸ™ŒπŸ˜‚πŸ€© I didn’t know you smoked. Usually people smoke to keep calm/relax or they smoke because of “addiction”, but using smoking as a way to keep warm during cold weather is an interesting concept πŸ’―πŸ’―πŸ˜‚.

      1. You might be able to perfect the method πŸ‘πŸ˜„. I was initially thinking about the affects of smoking on body’s internal heat (I forgot everything about the finger issue πŸ€πŸ€πŸ˜„), but I believe you are on to something — you might just need try a bigger “blunt” hahaha

      2. Aw thanks πŸ™ but I don’t do that. And, what I can gather from the smells there seems to be enough of that going around close to my house anyways. But not from me.

  8. “Aw thanks πŸ™ but I don’t do that. And, what I can gather from the smells there seems to be enough of that going around close to my house anyways. But not from me.”

Hahaa greatly respect that — I was just joking πŸ˜‚. I don’t smoke or drink alchol, so I am the least bit qualified to seriously make such recommendations πŸ™πŸ˜…πŸ˜‚.

🀣🀣 sounds like not even the cold can stop some people from getting high πŸ˜„πŸ˜„. Also i hope you have great weekend πŸ’™πŸŒΉπŸ’™

    1. Oh, here the comments are. Thought it had been deleted since I’m outing people in my village as smokers of different substances. Well, so far the weekend’s been great as long as I don’t spend time here πŸ₯² apparently there’s some other users to my account no matter what I do. Think those have unfollowed you also πŸ™Œ well, at least I’m in Bali πŸ˜‰

      1. Hahahaha I think they may be too high to notice 🀭🀣. I am happy that your weekend was great at that time πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸ’™.

What do you mean by “apparently there’s some other users to my account no matter what I do” ? πŸ˜‚

Yes I probably [unintentionally] ruffled a few feathers πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ€. True, there is still the bright side of things and it is the fact that you are still in Bali hahaha πŸ™ŒπŸ€©πŸ€©

      2. The weekend turned out good, and the week so far has been great πŸ™

Regarding “the other users” of my blog. Well, it’s the fact that some comments and likes are marked as read by wp, even if it’s not read by me. That’s why some comments go by unnoticed by me. Or sometimes I don’t see likes, which is a bit sad since it’s nice to get some sort of response to my work here. According to wp-support my account had many browsers open, which I didn’t. Oh, well. I’ll take care of that later β±πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸ‘‹

    2. Oh, apparently I’m following you. Yesterday evening I wasn’t πŸ™„ have no idea what’s going on. But in these days, who does πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

      1. Yes you are <3 <3.

I think that perhaps there was an issue with the stats. Sometimes certain aspects of your profile aren't always up-to-date or accuate at the time you view them; sometimes this could be the result of a page not being fully loaded, or it could be server-side complexities.

But I checked and you are actually there:

        https://www.dropbox.com/s/nnvlady2x1v727i/Screenshot_.png?dl=0

        πŸ™πŸ™πŸ˜‚

      2. Yes, I’m following you today, but yesterday in the evening I wasn’t. And checked with wp today and apparently there were many webpages where I was logged into my account. But it wasn’t me, since I was on the app. And the app behaved extremely strange yesterday. So well … bit difficult to blog and such πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

  9. Yes that’s the bizzare thing; on my end, it showed that we were actually still connected. The status of the follower module on my account is usually correct 99% of the time (I’m using the desktop version of WordPress), so that’s how I can usually get an idea of what might be the reason for a particular problem, especially in this department.

So from what I understand, yesterday it was appearing to you, on your end, that we were not connected, but on the desktop version, it reflected the actual status of our connection and it indicated that you were actually still connected with me βœŒοΈπŸ˜‚.

Don’t want this to seem like a lecture haha. I am just sharing with you what I know πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ’™

      1. Well, yes?!! It’s just so annoying to see notifications marked as if I’ve read them, even if I haven’t, so maybe if I stick to one kind of login there might be some consistency πŸ˜‰

      2. I didn’t give any specific recommendations or instructions; most of what I said was “observational”, so anything I said could have “potentially” inspired you to “do like me” which is why I had to ask because to me it was vague if not for assumptions 🀭☺️

Haha I get what you mean. Hopefully you an stick to a log in that’s acually reliable and won’t send you into confusion with false-flag events and inaccurate readings hahaha

  10. “The weekend turned out good, and the week so far has been great πŸ™

Regarding β€œthe other users” of my blog. Well, it’s the fact that some comments and likes are marked as read by wp, even if it’s not read by me. That’s why some comments go by unnoticed by me. ———–

Awww I am happy for how things worked out for you πŸ™πŸ™πŸ’™, and make sure to say warm if you can ☺️☺️

Understood, you made it perfectly clear; thanks πŸ‘πŸ˜„. It’s definitely easy to overlook messages that look as if they are old news or like if you had dealt with them already πŸ˜‚. yes getting likes or some reaction to your work is a good way to get an idea of what people think πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘πŸ’―. I like as much as yours as possible πŸ€£πŸ˜‚

    1. It is or, for me the likes and followers more about the fact that someone actually has seen my blogpost. Because that still surprises me πŸ˜‰ only started my blog to have somewhere to show my work when looking for clients! Oh and, sorry for late reply been … blogging πŸ˜‚

      1. True, just generally being seen or hard is another aspect aswell βœŒοΈπŸ’―πŸ˜„. Considering how things are going for you in relation to your blog, I think it’s safe to say that you have come to the right place to show off your work haha. Thanks for your consideration concerning the late reply; it is totally fine. I have been a victim of blogging just as much as you have πŸ‘πŸ’™πŸ˜‚

      2. Yes, I’m in a good place right now πŸ™Œ finally feels like I’m moving in the right direction and can actually do what I’ve been wanting to do for years. But, it really has been a weird trip πŸ™„πŸ˜Ή

      3. Exactly πŸ™ŒπŸ˜‚, you know how the saying goes “you have to start somewhere” and, in your case, there were so many memorable places that you visited that it would seem like many people wouldn’t even know where to start hahaha, but you are doing it my friend πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ™πŸ˜‚

A weird trip?, how so? πŸ‘€πŸ˜„πŸ€£

      4. Oh, weird because … where should I start? Traveling at the, hopefully, end of a pandemic to tourist paradises that are going through some things has been eventful and interesting. Some places have forgotten what’s the main purpose of the tourism sector and other, like Sri Lanka, are falling to into a deep recession. Which is sad, it’s an amazing country, but today they have a 13 hour power cut. Could feel it coming early on, and I follow the news too πŸ˜‰ travel blogging during a global pandemic 😹

But here, more and more people are arriving. And more shops, hotels and restaurants are opening up πŸ™Œ

      5. Oh I see what you mean πŸ˜„πŸ˜„. I wasn’t sure if you was talking about just that particular trip, or your overall experience, so now I see what you mean now haha. I can tell that it was pretty rough for you, especially when we consider most things pandemic-related which affected just about everything 😹.

The situation in Sri Lanka is unfortunate indeed and I totally agree with your remarks about the main purpose of tourism. Good to know about the bit of good news that you mentioned at the end, and lets hope that keeps up. With some places reporting a “spike” in cases we will have to see what happens but hopefully, besides china, most places do not once again become “hot spots” πŸ€žπŸ˜…πŸ˜…
