A photo of the full moon I took during my travels and now have submitted to LensCultures Art Awards Contest
Often when Iβve been missing some place, or felt homesick during my travels, Iβve looked up at the moon and thought that itβs the same moon shining down at all the different places of the whole world uniting the world and also being amazed by that fact. And it’s the same with the seas, they are all connected at some point.Β
This photo is taken in Arugam Bay, Eastern Province of Sri Lanka, in October 2021 and I’ve submitted it to LensCulture ArtAwards competition. It was a very special moment and one of those where I thought, “should I go get my camera, or should I just enjoy the moment”. Because you don’t need to photograph everything in life. But, I’m happy I got my camera out and, during the time I edited it before uploading it, I didn’t even notice that it was 16 degrees Celsius in my house and I was fully back in the moment when I took the photo.
