Hardly remember it. Very short interview. Also bit of a fail since I joined the group to get a local network, which didn’t really happen 😹 blame it on the pandemic, long distances in the north or … something else 😉

Oh, the Caribbean 🌊 you can certainly swim there. But I’ve only been to Cuba, and Aruba. Great swimming 🏊♀️

Absolutely the way these islands are situated in the Caribbean, it makes sea and aquatic experiences accessible and feel very natural hahaha
My friends parents have a time share there so that’s why I visited Aruba. Nice! Also had just been in Calumet, Michigan where it was snowing so nice change 🙌🏝

Yes 👍👍😄, the snowy weather can be pretty harsh as well a dangerous depending on the severity, so having alternative options to get a break from those conditions are prospects you can’t beat hahaha
It was such a relief 🏊♀️ I do enjoy the snow, but cold weather completely tightens me up 🥶
Right the snow can be fun and make places look very beautiful haha, but take the precautions you need to avoid becoming an Ice Cycle 🤟👍🤣😄
Like not smoking outside when it’s -28 degrees Celsius. Then my fingers became just that in 3 minutes 🥶

Well no. Because holding a burning cigarette 🔥 but keep changing hands so one of them is warm. Once I didn’t do that and lost feel in my fingers. Oops 🙊

Oh I thought when you said “not smoking outside when it’s -28 degrees Celsius” meant that it was “-28” degrees outside and that you were not smoking, making it probably the best idea to cover up your hands if you can 😅😅.
I am glad that incident with your numb fingers only happened once and hopefully never again haha
Will, probably happen again 😉 because that’s what weather in the arctic is during the winter. And, I’ll probably spend some time there during the winter sometime again. And, I’m used to that too.
Hahaha yes, that, and also because I don’t think a burning cigarette is nearly enough to keep anyone from freezing to death is such a frigid environment 🤣😅. I am still impressed by the fact that the cigarette stays burning even though it’s that cold — it’s like magic or special effects 💯🤭😂

Haha it’s true that things do burn in the “cold” but when it’s that “freezing”, a cigarette seems like a lost cause 👍👍😂
Sort of. Inhaling the smoke among lots of cold air is a bit difficult 😹 takes the joy out of smoking a bit 😉
Yes it sounds incapacitating 🤣🤣. But, naturally, you are already “smoking” (😂😉) so I don’t think you need cigarettes 👍😁😆

🙌😂🤩 I didn’t know you smoked. Usually people smoke to keep calm/relax or they smoke because of “addiction”, but using smoking as a way to keep warm during cold weather is an interesting concept 💯💯😂.
It’s not a particularly effective concept tho 🙄 have to figure out how to improve it so I can keep all my fingers.
You might be able to perfect the method 👍😄. I was initially thinking about the affects of smoking on body’s internal heat (I forgot everything about the finger issue 🤭🤭😄), but I believe you are on to something — you might just need try a bigger “blunt” hahaha

Hahaa greatly respect that — I was just joking 😂. I don’t smoke or drink alchol, so I am the least bit qualified to seriously make such recommendations 🙏😅😂.

Regarding “the other users” of my blog. Well, it’s the fact that some comments and likes are marked as read by wp, even if it’s not read by me. That’s why some comments go by unnoticed by me. Or sometimes I don’t see likes, which is a bit sad since it’s nice to get some sort of response to my work here. According to wp-support my account had many browsers open, which I didn’t. Oh, well. I’ll take care of that later ⏱🏃♀️👋

I think that perhaps there was an issue with the stats. Sometimes certain aspects of your profile aren't always up-to-date or accuate at the time you view them; sometimes this could be the result of a page not being fully loaded, or it could be server-side complexities.

Yes, I’m following you today, but yesterday in the evening I wasn’t. And checked with wp today and apparently there were many webpages where I was logged into my account. But it wasn’t me, since I was on the app. And the app behaved extremely strange yesterday. So well … bit difficult to blog and such 🤷♀️
Yes that’s the bizzare thing; on my end, it showed that we were actually still connected. The status of the follower module on my account is usually correct 99% of the time (I’m using the desktop version of WordPress), so that’s how I can usually get an idea of what might be the reason for a particular problem, especially in this department.
So from what I understand, yesterday it was appearing to you, on your end, that we were not connected, but on the desktop version, it reflected the actual status of our connection and it indicated that you were actually still connected with me ✌️😂.
Don’t want this to seem like a lecture haha. I am just sharing with you what I know 😅😅💙

Yes, I’m in a good place right now 🙌 finally feels like I’m moving in the right direction and can actually do what I’ve been wanting to do for years. But, it really has been a weird trip 🙄😹

Oh, weird because … where should I start? Traveling at the, hopefully, end of a pandemic to tourist paradises that are going through some things has been eventful and interesting. Some places have forgotten what’s the main purpose of the tourism sector and other, like Sri Lanka, are falling to into a deep recession. Which is sad, it’s an amazing country, but today they have a 13 hour power cut. Could feel it coming early on, and I follow the news too 😉 travel blogging during a global pandemic 😹
But here, more and more people are arriving. And more shops, hotels and restaurants are opening up 🙌
Oh I see what you mean 😄😄. I wasn’t sure if you was talking about just that particular trip, or your overall experience, so now I see what you mean now haha. I can tell that it was pretty rough for you, especially when we consider most things pandemic-related which affected just about everything 😹.
The situation in Sri Lanka is unfortunate indeed and I totally agree with your remarks about the main purpose of tourism. Good to know about the bit of good news that you mentioned at the end, and lets hope that keeps up. With some places reporting a “spike” in cases we will have to see what happens but hopefully, besides china, most places do not once again become “hot spots” 🤞😅😅
